How the MADness started

Wired Early

Some kids dreamed of being on stage. I was drawn to how it all ran. My dad produced major shows across D.C., from the National Mall to John Denver. My grandfather chased tech before most knew it mattered. Their worlds pulled me in early.

First Big Moment

At 10, my dad, production manager at The Wax Museum in DC, let me tag along. I sat behind Twisted Sister’s drum kit in an empty club. I didn’t fully understand what I was seeing, but it felt alive. That moment stuck.

Hands-On Learning

I ran my elementary school’s TV show and tech for talent shows and events. In high school, I interned at a studio and worked production for a wedding band, real-world reps that grounded everything to come.

Professional Growth

No college. Just hustle. I launched MAD Productions out of high school while pushing cases and building touring shows. I spent 15 years in audio, working with DC’s top sound companies, touring nationally, and earning my stripes at venues like NATION, LOVE, Dream, and Nissan Pavilion.

The Shift to Visuals

In 2011, I ran visuals for Avicii at the DC Armory. Thousands of people. One screen. That moment changed everything, visuals weren’t support. They were the pulse.

From Club to Global Stage

Since day one at Echostage, twice named DJ Mag’s #1 Club in the World, I’ve been behind the visuals, VJing sets that shaped EDM’s biggest nights. That led to touring with Deadmau5, Alesso, Tiësto, and more, creating shows that didn’t just tour the world, they helped define it.

MAD: Fully Formed

What started with a camcorder and backstage access is now a global creative studio. MAD blends design, motion, and tech to transform space and amplify performance. Any scale. Any stage. Anywhere.

Not Just Pixels

When I’m not bringing visuals to life, I’m raising two incredible boys, spending time with my bae, spoiling my perfect pup Tucker, chasing epic drone shots, or launching my first coffee table book, because life’s too short for ordinary.
